​How can we design an Air Pump device that utilizes the forearm as the main power driver, while increasing grip and signaling over inflation?

This project sought to redesign a sports hand tool to perform more efficiently while exploring weight, shape, fit to the user, grip type & biomechanics of the arm. The sports equipment I chose to study was a ball pump, while focusing on the interaction between a soccer ball and pump, but it can be applied to all ball types.
