BRIEF
Aussie Rules football, or Footy, is a unique sport that requires a specific set of physiological and athletic abilities to perform at the highest level. Currently, only two boot manufacturers offer boots designed for the sport, offering a single silhouette to cover the entire gamut of 18 positions. While numerous other football variants have distinctive boot lines based on positions, this trend has yet to be explored within the game of Footy.

This project explores the integration of additive manufacturing into cleated footwear to adapt traction, accuracy, and weight, based on three unique positions and their individual requirements
P1 RUCKMAN
The defensive giants on the pitch, these athletes average over 6’5 and are in constant aerial contests
P2 ROVER
The pacemakers, these players run the largest volume on the field to recover possession and direct traffic while using the most dynamic movement
P3 FORWARD
The primary scorers of the team, these players need pinpoint accuracy and a quick getaway to have a glimpse of goal to take a shot
